You want to do something.
You really want to do something.
You hate to see them in pain. You hate to see this process. You want to put on your cape and fly to their rescue.
But God says no.
God says let Him do it. God says let Him be their Savior, their Hero this time.
God says pray.
And when you still aren't happy with "just" praying, God ties your hands. He says, "NO" really, really loud.
He says to trust Him. He says He knows the situation better than you know it. He says He's working something out that will bless them big-time, but if you step in you're going to mess it up.
"But," you say.
God says, "No."
Again He tells you to pray. Pray. Pray. Pray.
When we get a command from the Great Creator, the Almighty God, our Eternal Father, maybe we should listen.
It is never "just" prayer.
Prayer is where we can touch on God's power. Prayer is where God can work. Prayer is one of the most important things we do. Often, it is the most important thing we do.
"The effective prayer of a righteous (person) can accomplish much." James 5:16c
"if anyone is God-fearing, and does His will, He hears him." John 9:31b
"And all things you ask in prayer, believing, you shall receive." Matthew 21:22
